Privacy Policy

Introduction

Tahani AI ("the App", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our AI greeting card generator.

Data We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name via Firebase Authentication. You may also sign in with Google or Apple.

Content You Create

We store the greeting cards you create (including text and AI-generated images) in Firebase Cloud Firestore and Firebase Cloud Storage to display and manage them in your account.

Uploaded Images

If you upload images for use in your cards, they are stored securely in Firebase Cloud Storage and processed by Google Gemini AI for card generation.

Subscription Data

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are handled by RevenueCat through the App Store or Google Play. We do not store your credit card information directly. RevenueCat shares your subscription status with us to enable paid features.

Usage Data

We collect basic usage data (such as number of cards created) to manage free and paid quotas.

Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect automatic usage data — including app launches, screen views, session length, device model, operating system version, language, and country — to understand how the app is used in aggregate. This data is not tied to your real-world identity and is used solely to improve the product.

Crash and Diagnostic Data

We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and non-fatal error logs when the app encounters a problem. Crash reports include a stack trace, the device model and OS version, and the internal user ID of the signed-in account so we can investigate issues that affect specific users. Crash data is retained for up to 90 days and used solely to fix bugs.

Public Gallery and User-Generated Content

When you publish a card to the public gallery, that card — along with your display name — becomes visible to other users of Tahani AI. Published cards can be liked, viewed, and reported by other users.

You can unpublish any of your cards at any time from the "My Cards" screen. Unpublishing removes the card from the gallery immediately.

We moderate the public gallery through a community reporting system. If a card receives 5 or more reports, it is automatically hidden from the gallery pending review. If a card receives 10 or more reports, it is flagged for deletion. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our Terms of Service at any time, with or without prior notice.

Reports are associated with your account for auditing purposes. We do not share the identity of a reporter with the card's creator.

How We Use Your Data

AI Processing

We use the Google Gemini API to generate greeting card images. When you create a card, the descriptive text (and uploaded images, if any) are sent to Google servers for AI processing. This processing is subject to the Google Gemini API Terms of Service.

Third-Party Services

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your cards at any time from within the app. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below.

Data Security

We use Firebase Security Rules to control data access, and all communications are encrypted via HTTPS. User identity is verified before every read or write operation.

Children's Privacy

Tahani AI is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at nader@naderalfakesh.com and we will delete the information.
